Christine E. Lee, MD, CPE is a board-certified, comprehensive ophthalmologist specializing in cataract and refractive surgery. She is the CEO of Crossroads Coaching & Consulting, and currently a clinical associate professor in the Department of Ophthalmology, Baylor College of Medicine, in Houston, TX. She has practiced for 25 years in the academic and private settings.
Dr. Lee obtained the Certified Physician Executive (CPE) through the American Association of Physician Leadership by taking physician leadership and medical management courses and through the rigorous Capstone process. Dr. Lee's leadership philosophy is based on integrity, trust and respect. Her overarching goal is to strive for excellence and success for herself and others around her. With her philosophy background, Dr Lee develops a strategic perspective to consider many different views and uses collaboration to bring in ideas from other disciplines. Her recent approaches have included Aristotle to Existentialism.
Dr. Lee is a graduate of University of Michigan, Honors B.S. undergraduate program majored in Philosophy and Cellular and Molecular Biology and received M.D. from the University of Michigan Medical School. She completed the ophthalmology residency from the University of Virginia.
Dr. Lee is happily married to Michael Lee, MD and they have 3 successful grown children.
